Whoever started the myth that teenage breakouts stop once you’re no longer a teenager…we need to have words. As Brittany Mahomes, 28, well knows acne flare-ups can happen at any age, and she candidly revealed to followers that she thinks an allergy caused her latest one.
Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and mother of their two young kids, took to Instagram to share a makeup-free selfie, writing via Stories, “Here for your daily reality check…Actually really struggling with my skin right now, trying to figure out why it’s just breaking out all around my mouth like I’m allergic to something, but can not figure it out,” per Page Six. Later, she posted a makeup-free moment embracing her son and daughter.

So nice to see Brittany Mahomes knows you don’t have to wear a full face of makeup every day—or any day, if that’s not your jam! Just don’t expect her to embrace the less-is-more look any time soon. Mahomes likes to turn out A Look, and proudly uses style to express herself. She showed up to the 2024 Super Bowl in nothing less than a strapless red latex body jumpsuit, bringing to mind the iconic bodysuit Britney Spears wore in the “Oops!…I Did It Again” video. She threw a giant fur coat on top, because why be a WAG when you can be a Mob Wife?
She changed into a little black dress with cut-outs for the after-party, and even insisted that Vegas party performer Post Malone join her in using fashion to celebrate, coaxing him into a Chiefs jacket on stage.
