Dua Lipa and boyfriend Callum Turner have been photographed enjoying a sojourn in New York, inspiring a number of tabloid headlines to the tune of “smitten,” “loved-up displays,” and “can’t keep their hands off each other.” Note: the increasing levels of thirst arising from the press, who seem to have been left open-mouthed at the notion that two good-looking celebrities might share a little casual intimacy. Or should I say, pack on the PDA.
Dua Lipa has been stationed in New York over the past week to promote her upcoming album—Radical Optimism—and to be acknowledged as one of the Time 100 most influential people in the world. But a woman’s work is never done, and so with a little help from stylist Lorenzo Posocco, Lipa has worn several different outfits, to (a) dine in the West Village, and (b) walk around the Lower East Side in the expansive embrace of Turner’s arm. She has so far modeled an imposing leather trench from Khaite, a drop-shoulder jacket from Bottega Veneta, Alaïa’s mesh ballet flats, and an (almost) full look from emerging designer Meryll Rogge: comprising a plaid tuxedo coat and a cropped sweater from the Belgian brand’s autumn/winter 2024 collection.
