On Monday, Ralph Lauren presented his Fall/Holiday 2024 Women’s Collection with an intimate fashion experience set inside his private design studio in New York City with many celebrity friends of the house in attendance.
We all know Kerry Washington’s love affair with all things Ralph Lauren between her moments from ‘The School For Good And Evil’ LA premiere, the 2023 National Book Awards Ceremony and the Elle 2023 Women In Hollywood Celebration, however this outing is my favourite Kerry Washington x Ralph Lauren look.
It’s mostly due the jewel tones, especially the teal shirt, along with the styling.
Some might feel that the belt was one piece too much considering how heavily beaded the necklace is, but the belt injects the Ralph Laureness into the look for me.
Jessica Chastain will opt for fully beaded most of the time, but she shows some restraint this time in Ralph Lauren Collection, yet still shines like a diamond.
Jessica’s look was styled with the Ralph Lauren Collection RL 888 bag.
Jodie Turner-Smith gave us a better moment in the Ralph Lauren Collection Spring 2024 crocheted, fringe caftans than Kerry Washington did last year, yet the Sonora Boots Melrose over-the-knee cowboy boots were one step too far for me.
I did love the cowboy hat, but I was glad Jodie opted out of wearing the runway beaded necklace.
Rebecca Hall went in the complete other direction from Jodie’s OTT look, with this minimalist Ralph Lauren Collection look which was mute by her usual standards.
Speaking of going in a different direction, Hannah Einbinder, who is known for her love for tailored suits, would have had an abundance of options to pull from Ralph Lauren, so I love how she selected this plaid plunging neck gown from the Spring 2024 collection.
What a beautiful way to step outside your comfort zone, especially considering how Hannah modified the neckline.
I would never have chosen this Ralph Lauren Collection look for Tina Kunakey as the ensemble is giving valet parking attendant, but I can’t fault anything about the way the look is styled or presented, she looks amazing as always.
Kelsey Merritt signals that scarf necklines are still trending on the red carpet this week.
I love the elevated western influences here.
Glenn Close never met an ivory suit she didn’t love.
Who was your favourite on the night?
