Katy Perry attended the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday, where she served up a style which was completely unrecognisable for her.
We’ve always known the singer for her playful style that rotates between whimsical with cartoon-inspirations, pop-culture homages, high-glamour, unconventional and cool.
However, on this occasion Katy marked her comeback to the red carpet at this event wearing a fishnet Interior Fall 2023 dress accented with red ribbons.
As this isn’t Katy’s usual M.O., I can only guess that this is the way she has chosen to reintroduce herself as Katy the music artist, after her 7-year stint on American Idol before she hits the road on tour in 2024 or 2025.
Am I mad at it?
Not really. But I do believe that her team could have come up with a more creative and original way to stand out on this red carpet.
After all, standing out on the red carpet has always been her thing without going the sheer route.
Acne sunglasses, Mara Paris rings and Khaite slouchy boots completed her look.
