(That’s a pun if you’ve seen the Sopranos, and it’s absolutely nothing if you haven’t.) Tell me Ms. Adriana would not simply die for this combination of animal prints, bleached blonde hair, layered jewels, and fur.
The Hollywood Curtain/Bauer-Griffin
While visiting Hollywood hotspot The Nice Guy, Rihanna wore a leopard-print miniskirt over sheer tights and topped the look with a floor-grazing leopard-print coat with shearling cuffs. To keep the early-’00s vibe alive, she accessorized with a furry clutch and killer black pointed-toe pumps. I just know RiRi had this photo of Adriana, played by Drea de Matteo, on her mood board.
Unlike the mob wife, the mob girlfriend is a little more playful, a little bit sexier. She is not yet hosting Sunday dinners with the family, and so has yet to trade in her animal-print jumpsuits for animal-print button-ups. Where they do align, however, is with impeccable taste in jewelry and terrible taste in men.
Rihanna, of course, is only playing dress-up. She’s way too busy being a billionaire to get caught up in the waste management business. Oh, and she buys her own jewels.
