Tracee Ellis Ross was honoured by the Fashion Scholarship Fund Gala in New York City on Monday.
The actress returned the favour by honouring the creative genius that is Marc Jacobs, by wearing a dress from his Fall 2024, which celebrated his label’s 40th anniversary this year.
There were only red carpet pictures of her from the side, but from her Instagram photoshoot we get a better picture of the exaggerated silhouette, which feels both classic and innovative at the same time, which we would expect from a designer as creative as Marc Jacobs.
Taking inspiration from the runway, Tracee was just as creative with her hairstyle.
Why didn’t she rock the runway bouffant? After all, it’s giving Diane Ross vibes.

I’m loving everything excluding the eye makeup here, even though it matches her emerald jewels.
