Dwyane Wade has given us plenty of dramatic custom Atelier Versace looks at the Met over the years, but things took a quieter turn in this custom suit in a floral shade of lilac.
At first I thought that accent on his shoulder was part of his collarless jacket, but Dwayne is sporting a Cartier Libre Polymorph shoulder jewelry watch, which I never knew existed until today.

We love an archival moment, which Iris Law provided in this gown from the Atelier Versace Fall 2002 collection which looked like a beautiful butterfly.
I’m not sure who Emily Ratajkowski was in competition with, but she won the most sheer of the night wearing an Atelier Versace Fall 2001 gown.
While this is very predictable for Emily, I can’t fault the embroidery which is breathtaking.
You might need a microscope to detect a theme, but Jude Law looked as handsome as ever in this custom Atelier Versace tux.
Donatella Versace of course brought plenty of glamour to the red carpet in this delicate mint hued Atelier Versace gown inspired by the Ivy details from Versace Spring Summer 1997 collection which was accented with clear droplets shaped like morning dew.
I’m sure many of you will agree that while everyone looks good here, this was an uncharacteristically quiet night by Versace’s own standards at the Met.
The Atelier Versace 2021 Met Gala lives rent free in my head, and I occasionally let the Atelier Versace 2022 Met Gala take up residency in my mind too.
