After an amazing awards season I was expecting a lot from Ayo Edebiri at the 2024 Met Gala.
While the ‘Bear’ actress was very much on theme wearing this custom Loewe guipure lace halter dress, the dress did not fit.
I don’t mind that this dress didn’t follow her usual minimalist style, as I love that she really made an effort with the theme, but the gaping bodice is criminal for a custom design.
To the point where I have to ask, “did she have any fittings at all?”
And I can’t say I liked the makeup either.
