There is no denying it. Janelle Monáe and Vera Wang are a formidable force, which they proved once again at the 2024 Met Gala last night.
Merging the theme with sustainability, the singer-actress wore a custom Vera Wang Couture dress which incorporated recycled plastic bottles molded into organically shaped flowers.
You will either love the creativity of the look which included plastic paillettes dripping from her hair, or you are wishing that this wasn’t another barely-there look from Janelle and Wang.
I’m continuing to co-sign this fashion union.
Everything from the story to the intricate details ensured this was one of my favourites of the night.
