Liu Yifei joined Shu Qi on the red carpet for the Bulgari event celebrating the Aeterna High Jewelry collection held at Altare Della Patria in Rome on Monday.
The actress brought her usual heavenly flair to the red carpet wearing a Tamara Ralph Spring 2024 Couture green tea pleated taffeta gown.
But I am sure many of you will share my disappointment that Liu didn’t wear the rose corset encrusted with silk and peridot crystals we saw on the runway.
Having said that, I understand its exclusion.
This was a jewelry event after all, and the original corset, as detailed as it was, was in danger of upstaging/competing with her jewelry, which would have defeated the purpose.
So ultimately, she made the right choice.
