There were many familiar faces on the red carpet for the 2024 Met Gala, but Mona Patel, founder of the non-profit organization, Couture for Cause, was easily one of the best dressed on the night.
The entrepreneur looked breathtaking wearing a custom Iris van Herpen Haute Couture neutral hued gown, which looked beautiful in pictures, but there was more to the look than meets the eyes.
Mona Patel just raised the bar at #MetGala by incorporating moving butterflies into her outfit!♥️

On the red carpet the look came alive as the kinetic flower petals encircling her arms, fluttered in slow motion like butterflies adding weight to the woodland garden inspired theme.
Artist Casey Curran shared that this part of the look was Mona’s idea, and they had been tasked to bring her technically challenging vision to life.
Considering the buzz about this look, this was a successful Met Gala debut for Mona.
