Sienna Miller made a return to the red carpet at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles, California, on Monday to promote her latest film, ‘Horizon: An American Saga,’ following the film’s first premiere during the Cannes Film Festival.
What stands out about Sienna’s choices for both events is her consistent embrace of bohemian-inspired dresses from Chloé.
Sienna’s bohemian style has become a hallmark of her public persona, and Chloé’s designs are a natural extension of that identity, so I have no issue with Sienna going “tried and true,” and she does look good here.
My issue falls squarely with the boots.
It’s abundantly clear that Chemena Kamali wants us to fall in love with these Chloé leather boots – as we saw at the Met Gala – however, the insistence on pairing these dresses with the leather boots is giving a “forced element” that feels more like a hindrance than an enhancement to the overall looks.
Their bulkiness detracted from the lightness and fluidity of the bohemian dress, creating a discordant note in her otherwise harmonious ensemble.
