As you know, I love nothing more than a multi-look Blake Lively press tour, but I’m struggling to get on board with her first two looks promoting ‘It Ends With Us,’ which took place in Grapevine, Texas this weekend.

The issue I have with this Balmain embellished pinafore-style dress from the Spring 2024 collection paired with an organza shirt is that the dress feels too Christmasy with the tinsel-like embellishment.
You also have to question the practicality of this dress for a seated event.
I dislike her term “over-dressed,” but it feels very dressy for the occasion.

Columbia Pictures ‘It Ends With Us’ Surprise Screening
As you know I have always been a big fan of Blake Lively’s style, but even she can sell those Valentino Hibiscus embroidered detailed jeans to me.
This detail worked beautifully on the white mini dresses we saw on the Spring 2024 runway, but I’m not buying it in denim form on Blake, but I will admit that they did look good on the runway in a bagger fit.
