Lululemon-backed plastics recycler Samsara Eco has raised $65 million to help scale its operations.
The Australian company uses enzymes to recycle plastics like polyester and nylon into new materials. It’s planning to build the capacity to recycle millions of tonnes of plastic waste in South East Asia by late 2026.
The funding round was led by investment firms Temasek and Main Sequence, with additional funding from existing investors including Lululemon.
