Lupita Nyong’o was recently honored at the Hollywood Confidential event in support of her new film, ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’, set to release on June 27.
The event took place at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California, where Lupita looked stunning in a classic boucle dress from the Chanel Fall 2023 Haute Couture collection, showcasing her penchant for bold colors that always complement her beautifully.
However, while her dress choice was impeccable, her footwear left something to be desired.
Known for her impeccable style, Lupita has not always been noted for her shoe choices, and this occasion was no exception.
She opted for white and black toe cap Mary Janes from Chanel, a choice that did not harmonize well with her elegant suit.
Despite her usual fashion prowess, these shoes did not enhance her ensemble and felt out of place with her otherwise charming look.
