Riley Keough attended the 2024 Gotham TV Awards at Cipriani 25 Broadway in New York City, where her drama series ‘Under The Bridge’ was nominated in the Breakthrough Limited Series category.
When Riley was announced as an ambassador for Chanel, there was a lot of optimism from me about how her unique style could bring a fresh perspective to the brand.
However, her choice for this event—a Chanel Fall 2022 Haute Couture asymmetric dress with black lace flounces and pink and grey glittered floral motifs—felt somewhat predictable, rather than the shake-up that I always anticipated.
While Riley undeniably looked good in the dress, it seemed reminiscent of previous Chanel designs, however, I’m hopeful that the bold, unique twist expected from this partnership materialises at some point.
Chanel Fine Jewelry, including the Rose Tendre ring and Coco Crush ear cuff, which added a touch of elegance while maintaining the overall conventional Chanel aesthetic.
