Sometimes I get fixated on a specific detail of a man’s outfit. A bandana tied just so. The perfect length of calf socks.
And that’s a good thing, I suppose. I mean, I probably wouldn’t be very good at offering up men’s style advice for a living if I looked at a man’s outfit and thought to myself, Yeah I mean it’s fine, I guess?
But there’s one accessory lately that’s become the bane of my existence, mainly because I’m obsessed with the idea of it but can’t find good examples of it anywhere:
Men in yellow lens sunglasses with a black frame
I think they’re so chic and cool. And I’m convinced that every man who wears a pair of yellow tinted sunglasses with a black acetate frame can cook like Stanley Tucci and drive like Lando Norris. He can act like Jeff Golblum and play jazz…also like Jeff Goldblum.
Because I can’t come up with specific examples of stylish men wearing this style of eyewear, I can’t be sure if there’s a specific brand’s pair that I love. So instead, our team went sniffing around the internet for pairs that passed the vibe check test.
Thankfully, when it comes to accessories, we can usually find a decent amount of variety of price points. So, we rounded up our favorites, from affordable to “I’ll buy ’em with my F1 winnings.”

Made with custom tint, dip-dyed lenses, the Moscot ‘Rizik’ style would look as good on a guy in his twenties as they would on a more mature man.
Meaning? They’re timeless, stylish, and will wear well at every decade.
An eyewear OG, and one of the more affordable options on this list.
Ray-Ban’s Wayfarers come in more standard lens colors, but why be standard this summer?
The Milan-based label Off-White is the work of Virgil Abloh, and has continued on after the designer’s death in 2021. Combining street style aesthetics with luxury fashion construction, the lifestyle brand’s price tags can get out of reach fast, but these sunglasses are still in the accessible range.
I recently discovered this brand thanks to their very cute brick and mortar store in my old stomping grounds of the LES in New York City.
