The Tribeca Chanel Women’s Filmmaker Program, Through Her Lens, was celebrated with a special lunch hosted by Tribeca’s Jane Rosenthal and Chanel on June 7 in New York City. The event highlighted the evolution of the flagship program and celebrated women storytellers.
During the gathering, Kerry Washington, a member of the Through Her Lens Advisory Committee, praised the program’s impact and specifically highlighted the exceptional talent of director Numa Perrier, who emerged from this program. Kerry’s admiration underscored the program’s success in fostering remarkable female filmmakers.
Kerry Washington wore a look from the Chanel Pre-Fall 2024 collection that featured knitwear with a homemade feel, blending luxury with a cozy, artisanal touch. This look suited the informal yet elegant vibe of the luncheon.
Katie Holmes, known for her consistent and relatable style, wore an outfit that effortlessly straddled the line between red carpet chic and everyday casual. Her Chanel look was true to her personal style, reinforcing her fashion identity.
Kathryn Newton opted for a more youthful look this time, wearing a printed t-shirt and flare jeans combo. This ensemble was a departure from her previous vintage Chanel look, offering a fresher, more age-appropriate style. However, opinions might be divided on her choice of classic Chanel pumps, as some may find them less fitting for her youthful ensemble.
