At the Vogue World: Paris 2024 event held at the iconic Place Vendome, several gents made their mark on the red carpet, each showcasing their unique fashion sensibilities and flair for style.
Evan Mock captured my attention with his look from the Alexander McQueen’s Fall 2024 collection. Sporting a shearling top paired with loose-fit trousers, the actor embodied designer Seán McGirr’s vision of gender-neutral fashion, while proving that a full runway look is not always necessary to make a statement.
Ben Radcliffe, meanwhile, embraced one of the summer season’s key menswear trends: the colour blue. Clad in a sleek Spring 2024 suit from Lanvin, Ben exuded contemporary elegance. The sharp tailoring of the suit was paired with Lanvin Medley leather Richelieu shoes, which subtly disappeared into the stairs, allowing the suit to take center stage here.
German singer Jacob Rott also opted for Lanvin wearing a pink and black flared suit. His outfit, accented by a black silk scarf, a floral brooch, and Lanvin Banjo ankle boots, highlighted his flair for summer hues and bold accessories. I love how this look was a celebration of individuality.
Lucien Laviscount presented a more subdued, yet equally refined, style in a grey suit. Known for his previous maximalist fashion choices, Lucien’s current “quiet era” was on full display. However, I’m sure many of you – like me – are longing for his more adventurous days. It remains to be seen if the British actor will return to his bolder roots or if this minimalist phase is here to stay.
Adding a yet more colour to the event, Rauw Alejandro demonstrated the power of bold hues in menswear tailoring. His vibrant attire was a standout, proving the impact that a striking colour can have in transforming a classic silhouette into a head-turning ensemble.
