If you were browsing through the news and social media today, you might be forgiven for thinking that Emma Corrin skipped the ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ New York premiere. After all, Blake Lively and Gigi Hadid captured most of the attention with their thematic ensembles. However, Emma Corrin was very much in attendance, making a striking impression in their own right.
Emma arrived at the premiere wearing a custom Nina Ricci off-the-shoulder bodysuit, adding another standout look to their already impressive press tour.
While some might feel this ensemble veers into “try hard” territory, reminiscent of Kristen Stewart’s high-cut moment at the ‘Love Lies Bleeding’ LA premiere back in March, I see it differently.
For me, Emma’s outfit represents a return to the bold, authentic style that they are known for. This look not only aligns with their unique fashion sense, but also aptly reflects their role as the antagonist in the film, as this look speaks to their character and presence on screen.
Yes, I am Team Corrin, but I genuinely believe they nailed this look from head to toe. This was a daring choice that paid off, showcasing Emma’s ability to push fashion boundaries while staying true to their personal style.
While Blake Lively and Gigi Hadid certainly had their moments in the spotlight, Emma’s appearance was not one to be overlooked.
