Following her “Sponsored by Miu Miu” red carpet appearance, Gigi Hadid joined Blake Lively at the Jazz Center for the ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ New York premiere after-party on Monday.
This time, Gigi stayed more on theme than her sidekick by opting for a striking head-to-toe yellow ensemble. The model wore a LaQuan Smith rubber trench coat from the Spring 2023 collection, a bold and eye-catching choice that stood out in all the right ways.
For me, this look was infinitely better than her red carpet outfit, but considering the hot weather and the spotlights on the red carpet, a rubber trench coat may not have been the right choice for the main event.
The real intrigue surrounding this look is, “What’s underneath the trench coat?” By all accounts, it appears that the model chose to wear nothing but a black bodysuit, adding an element of mystery and allure to her ensemble.
Gigi completed her look with Christian Louboutin Sporty Kate yellow pumps—shoes I own and adore—which perfectly complemented the vibrant trench coat. She also carried her Miu Miu quilted bag from the red carpet, tying her after-party look back to her earlier appearance.
