Mollie King Wore Posse To The Wimbledon Tennis Championships

Day 5 of the Wimbledon Tennis Championship saw singer Mollie King enjoying drinks at the iconic ‘Pimm’s on the Hill,’ despite the persistent rain that dampened the day’s play. While the weather might have limited her chances of witnessing much tennis, her look was still vibrant.

This week at Wimbledon has been a showcase of summer style, with stripes, and florals making their appearances. Now, with Mollie King’s polka dots joining the lineup, we just need gingham to complete the “Big Four” of summer patterns.

Mollie wore a Posse Lori linen dress that epitomises elegance and summer charm. The dress features a flattering square neckline, a free-flowing maxi skirt, and a stunning open back while demonstrating – once again – how the colour brown has seamlessly transitioned into summer fashion. The rich hue and the dress’ relaxed yet refined design make it an ideal choice for a day out at Center Court, weather permitting of course.

I love how the singer styled the dress with Saint Laurent’s hugely popular Blake slingback pumps, however, the addition of a Cult Gaia pearl acrylic and gold-tone bag felt somewhat out of place. The bag, while stylish in its own right, seemed mismatched with the rest of her ensemble, much like Sienna Miller’s attempt to sell winter boots with a summer dress. It feels like Mollie’s dress and the bag are going two entirely different events.

With any luck, the rain will subside, and Mollie—and other attendees—will have a chance to enjoy the tennis.
