Ever find yourself searching London for the perfect iced coffee? Well, look no further — Grind has you covered. Teaming up with Baileys for a new menu this summer, the Liverpool Street, London Bridge, Greenwich, and Shoreditch stores are offering a range of rich and silky beverages, including a dirty chai and espresso martini that will have you asking for a refill. And if that’s not enough, you can pair your coffee with your top thanks to the king of sequins and slogan tees, London-based designer Ashish.
Inspired by Baileys’ playful and cheeky archival advertisements, Ashish embraced the spirit of ice coffee culture with a statement t-shirt reading “Put Your Baileys in My Coffee” in shimmering letters. “They got in touch and asked me if I’d like to do something,” he tells me as we chat during the Grind x Baileys pop up event in London, which welcomed guests including Gemma Collins, Princess Julia, and Adot Gak for drinks and music. “I love Baileys. When I was growing up, quite funnily, we used to always have Baileys in the house. It was a real after dinner thing.”

Looking back at his personal history some more, the designer known for dressing the likes of Madonna, Rihanna, and Miley Cyrus actually studied advertising before transitioning into the fashion industry. Bringing these two worlds together, he looked at Baileys’ past campaigns to inform the tees. “I was just researching Baileys’ catalogue of vintage advertising and it’s really, really lovely, really clever,” he explains. “The photography, the graphics, everything. So that was my jumping off point, really. I wanted it to be sweet, a little bit tongue-in-cheek, and very much the spirit of the drink.”
Reminiscent of the designer’s work for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Red tees, the styles come in cropped and boxy silhouettes. You can even purchase it as a bundle with all the supplies to make a Baileys iced coffee at home. Bold, daring, and sweet, it’s the perfect pairing to your iced coffee this summer.
