As I predicted on Monday, Blake Lively wasn’t content with showcasing just one look as she continued her promotional tour for her new film, ‘It Ends With Us.’
True to her multi-look reputation, the actress presented three more striking outfits, starting with her exit look from the CBS studios.
Flo Rida
Blake’s bold flower power aesthetic continued with a leather biker jacket and short set from Dauphinette. The outfit was eye-catching and exuded a rebellious, chic vibe. To amplify the biker chic allure, she styled the look with Christian Louboutin Sova Broda embellished sandals. However, while the intention was clear, the sandals didn’t quite harmonize with the overall outfit.
Given the heat in New York this week, Blake’s decision to go shirtless under the biker jacket was a practical and stylish choice.
Leather layers
However, her next look for another engagement was puzzling. Blake opted for another leather Dauphinette floral ensemble, this time pairing the previously seen jacket with a leather sleeveless top and a pencil skirt. This look seemed excessively heavy for the sweltering weather. While the outfit might have been perfect for a cooler month like November, it felt overwhelming for the current temperatures.
The ensemble did improve somewhat when she removed the jacket, offering a slightly lighter feel, but the overall heaviness remained an issue for me.
Cowgirl Reynolds
The final look from Monday saw Blake in a heavy knit cardigan and jeans with leather chaps from the Stella McCartney Resort 2025 collection. She paired these with a distressed vinyl bodysuit from the Tory Burch Fall 2024 collection and Christian Louboutin Lipstrass Queen sandals.
I’m not really sure what to say about this look other than, Beyonce is punching the air right now.
You might question the cohesiveness or the sheer audacity of the look, but you can tell that Blake enjoyed this moment.
What stands out from this press tour is Blake’s commitment to a theme. However, Monday’s looks felt too heavy and somewhat excessive. A touch of restraint, lighter fabrics, and a more streamlined approach might have served her better.
Nonetheless, Blake is known for her more-is-more approach and her enjoyment and pride in styling herself are evident, and her dedication to making a statement is undeniable.
It’s clear that Blake loves to push the envelope, and her adventurous spirit with fashion continues to make her one to watch.
