Blake Lively’s 'It Ends With Us' London Style Marathon

You didn’t think the week would end with just eight looks from Blake Lively’s press tour for ‘It Ends With Us’, did you?

The actress continued to turn heads with four more outfits during her stay in London. From BBC Radio appearances to dinner engagements, Blake’s wardrobe choices continue to take us on a rollercoaster ride.

BBC Radio Visit

Blake’s choice for her appearance at BBC Radio was nothing short of quintessentially British as she donned a Burberry Resort 2025 trench coat, a piece that perfectly encapsulated the theme of the film, the drizzly London weather, and her UK setting. The coat, with its intricate floral laser-cut detailing, struck a perfect balance between classic and contemporary. It was a unique take on the traditional trench, making it both on-theme and eye-catching.

Paired with Manolo Blahnik Lurum mules, the ensemble might have seemed mismatched at first glance, given the mules’ more glamorous appeal. However, it’s likely that the shoes were chosen to complement the outfit underneath her coat.

Capital Radio Visit

Blake channelled some serious ‘A Simple Favor’ vibes with her Thom Browne look at Capital Radio. This ensemble took us back to the days when she made tailored looks her fashion playground. The checkered pattern, vibrant colours, and floral embroidery made the outfit perfectly thematic and seasonally appropriate.

While her New York looks were sometimes challenging due to complex styling, this Thom Browne outfit was both cohesive and stylish, thanks to the carefully chosen Thom Browne bag and the pink and white heeled Thom Browne brogues which tied the entire look together, making it a standout from her London outings.

Out and About in London

Blake’s long-standing relationship with Chanel took center stage with her choice of a white boucle Resort 2025 suit while out in London. However, the styling of this outfit teetered on the edge of overdone. The Chanel heart and CC white tights, combined with floral appliqué on her Christian Louboutin Crosspiga pumps, felt a touch too coordinated, bordering on cheesy.

That said, if Blake was channelling her inner Blair Waldorf, then she undoubtedly nailed it.

Dinner in London

For her final look of the night, Blake opted for a Thom Browne Fall 2024 Couture ensemble that left me somewhat perplexed. This outfit, with its intricate detailing and edgy vibe, didn’t quite align with Blake’s usual style. The spiked-soled lace-up boots, in particular, seemed too avant-garde for her usual aesthetic. Plus, a look this busy would have benefitted from a simpler, sleeker hairstyle.

While we know that designers often prefer their full runway looks to be worn as is, this particular ensemble might have suited someone with a more experimental fashion sense—perhaps someone like singer Tyla, who could carry off the edgy elements with confidence.

If this is the end of the press tour – as the film is in cinemas today – it’s safe to say that Blake gave it her all. While some of her choices were more experimental than others, there’s no denying that each outfit was meticulously curated to make a statement. Whether she’s paying homage to her on-screen character or pushing the boundaries of her personal style, Blake did keep me entertained with every look.
