Following her guest appearance on Good Morning America, Cate Blanchett once again showcased her love for suits during her visit to the SiriusXM Studios on Monday, where she continued promoting her new film, ‘Borderlands.’
Known for her sophisticated style, the Australian actress did not disappoint, seamlessly blending elegance and power in her suit which featured a pair of Meryll Rogge black pleated wool twill tuxedo trousers, which were accented with a white tuxedo stripe detail.

However, the green, black, and white Diadora sneakers, which added an unexpected twist to her otherwise polished look, might be a dealbreaker for some, as they contrast sharply with the formal nature of the suit. However, Cate’s fearless approach to fashion is precisely what makes her a style icon.
Would I wear those sneakers? Probably not. But I love how both accessories imbued a fun, relaxed, and effortless nonchalant vibe to her look. Cate’s willingness to experiment with her style and push the boundaries of traditional fashion norms is a testament to her confidence and creativity.
This ensemble is a perfect example of why Cate continues to be a fashion inspiration. Her ability to mix high fashion with casual elements without losing her signature elegance is impressive.
