In a historic moment that bridged two iconic cities, the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games saw the US national anthem performed by the Grammy-winning artist H.E.R.

The event, held at the majestic Stade de France on Sunday, marked the official handover of the Olympic Games from Paris—the City of Light—to Los Angeles, the City of Angels, which will host the Games in 2028.
