Isabela Merced made a stunning return to the red carpet at the LA premiere of the highly anticipated thriller, ‘Alien: Romulus’, held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday.
Given the premise of ‘Alien: Romulus’—a film set to be one of the summer’s major blockbusters— Isabela’s stylists were faced with a challenging decision. Should they opt for a gothic look to match the film’s eerie vibe, go full-on glam for the red carpet, or embrace the summer season?
In the end, they masterfully combined two of the three, as Isabela stepped out in a goth-glam black hooded gown from the Giambattista Valli Fall 2024 Haute Couture collection.
The gown, with its intricate drapery and exaggerated hips, exuded a futuristic edge that perfectly complemented the theme of the film. The hood added an element of mystery and drama, while the silhouette ensured a sophisticated, high-fashion finish.
Adding to the striking ensemble was Isabela ‘s choice of makeup. Her silver eye makeup was a standout, catching the light with a luminous glow that added an otherworldly touch to her look. This subtle yet impactful detail tied the entire outfit together, enhancing the futuristic vibe while ensuring Isabela’s natural beauty shone through.
I love how this outing perfectly balanced the film’s dark, futuristic theme with plenty of sophistication.
