Sanaa Lathan made a stylish appearance at the LA premiere of ‘The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat,’ held at The Culver Theater on Friday.
The actress turned heads in a creation by Eli Mizrahi that proved Mônot can deliver a demure cut-out look.
Mônot is a brand renowned for its dramatic cut-out designs, often turning heads with bold, revealing styles. However, this occasion was different. The designer chose to make the colour and silhouette the focal points of Sanaa’s ensemble, rather than the cut-outs. The result was a refreshing take on the label’s usual aesthetic, showcasing a balance between elegance and modernity.
You might be wondering—did Sanaa have the dress modified to reduce the impact of the cut-out? Or was it perhaps a sign that the dress was a bit too long for her frame?
But it turns out that her look actually consists of two pieces: a high neck top which she has definitely modified, and a maxi skirt which she perhaps should have shortened by an inch.
