Zoe Kravitz Wore Saint Laurent On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Zoe Kravitz made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ last night, where she talked about her engagement to Channing Tatum, her experience watching Taylor Swift perform in London after the premiere of her new film ‘Blink Twice,’ and her journey into directing with her co-written film.

As always, Zoe captivated the audience with her effortless charisma and cool demeanour. However, while I am usually mildly obsessed with Zoe’s style and her overall vibe, I must admit I’m struggling to get on board with her latest look from the Saint Laurent Pre-Fall 2024 collection.

Don’t get me wrong—I’m all for lace-accented pieces, and Zoe has a knack for making even the most daring fashion choices look effortlessly chic. But this time, the combination she wore gave off more “just rolled out of bed” vibes than a polished, intentional style. While this isn’t a completely unfamiliar side of Zoe’s fashion repertoire—she’s known for her laid-back aesthetic—it’s the first time it has felt less than refined to me.

The beige shade of the lace skirt didn’t do her any favours, in my opinion. It washed out her skin tone instead of complementing it. And then there were the brown Saint Laurent Dune pumps. While individually they might be a stylish choice, together with the outfit they felt mismatched, lacking the cohesion that usually defines Zoe’s fashion sense.

If I had to sum up this look, I’d call it “thrown together,” but not in the intentionally shabby chic way I would have expected from Zoe. Normally, she excels at mixing high fashion with a sense of undone elegance, but here, the combination seemed a little too haphazard, a little too disconnected. It lacked the edge and sophistication we’ve come to associate with her style.
