For the third year in a row, The Clooney Foundation for Justice hosted The Albies, honouring individuals who have shown unwavering dedication to justice, often at great personal risk. Co-hosted by Amal and George Clooney alongside Darren Walker, President of the Ford Foundation, the event drew a star-studded audience from various sectors, including fashion, entertainment, and human rights. The awards, named after South African Justice Albie Sachs, a key figure in ending apartheid, continue to celebrate unsung heroes of our time.

There was some chatter surrounding her alleged ‘upstaging’ of George Clooney at the Venice Film Festival, where the actor premiered his film ‘Wolfs’, but on this occasion she opted for a black Atelier Versace gown.
While some may say this was a more subdued choice compared to her usual penchant for bold colours, the sleek velvet gown with its plunging neckline and her dazzling jewels proved that even a toned-down Amal is still a standout.
