To commemorate the launch of the luxe young Hollywood-inspired Amiri FW ’24 campaign, we asked it’s stars, the burgeoning K-pop king Sunwoo, and American actors Seth Lee and Ashton Sanders, to take our September issue questionnaire. The result? A grand reveal of the budding talents’ most Hollywood traits.

SUNWOO
What’s up?
Lately, I’ve been incredibly busy. I’m gearing up for The Boyz’s comeback with a new album, and in addition to that, I’m working on other stages and content as well.
What are you wearing?
Today, I’m rocking a leather jacket paired with leather shorts. I’ve added an Amiri scarf to the pants for a touch of flair.
What’s the most Hollywood thing about you?
I’d say it’s my confidence and ability to stay composed in any situation. I also have a strong passion for taking on new challenges.
How would you describe your social life?
I’m still learning and growing through my mistakes, and though social life can be quite challenging, I’m dedicated to constantly improving and evolving.
What are your rules for dressing?
For daily wear, I opt for comfortable clothing due to frequent rehearsals. However, when it’s time to dress up, I make sure to focus on detailed elements that give off a stylish, edgy vibe.
Where do you shop?
I primarily shop online, but during our world tours, I’ve found myself shopping quite a bit in Japan.
What’s on your bedside table?
I keep a 2-meter-long phone charging cable by my bedside. It’s incredibly convenient, and I highly recommend it.
What advice do you have?
While I feel I’m pretty young to be giving advice, I’d suggest, in this one life, instead of pursuing success alone, focus on following your own dreams and don’t worry about what others think.
What do you really want?
I hope to live a fulfilling life with self-assurance, focusing on my own path rather than on external judgments.
What’s your last Google search?
“How to install a Wi-Fi router.”
Where are we headed?
I view life as navigating a vast sea, rather than following a predetermined path. Even when not actively steering, like a boat drifting with the waves, you’re still moving forward.

SETH LEE
What’s up?
After a long day, I’m unwinding by listening to Bon Iver’s For Emma, Forever Ago on vinyl and writing down my agenda for the upcoming week. This is a typical Sunday reset for me, so I can get in the right headspace for what’s on the horizon.
Where are you?
I’m currently in my house in beautiful Sherman Oaks.
What are you wearing?
Right now, I’m rocking a leather suede Gabriela Coll Garments jacket, with a vintage button-up and a distressed pair of Levi 505s. I’m topping it off with my usual accessories and my favorite Western boots.
What’s the most Hollywood thing about you?
I love going to the movie theaters more than anything, especially the plethora of iconic theaters in LA. My favorite is the Vista. Growing up, my family bonded by seeing a film literally every weekend. It was our tradition. It was magic. The whole experience of going to a theater still holds a very special place in my heart.
How would you describe your social life?
I consider myself quite the social butterfly. I’m often hitting the nightlife of LA on the weekends, but on the flip side, I cherish nothing more than my close-knit group of friends. With them, a great time can be as simple as a sunset on the beach, or the long car rides home on Mulholland Drive. I find joy in the little things, as well as the crowded dance floors of Hollywood.
What are your rules for dressing?
For everyday style, prioritize proportions. From head to toe, the pieces should be in a working relationship. If the proportions are skewed, the whole concept unravels.
Where do you shop?
Out in SoCal, I love stopping by Departamento in DTLA. They recently opened up an amazing new location, which I definitely recommend. They feature a wide variety of designers. No matter your style, you’ll find something. Besides that, I’ll hit up the Silverlake flea where I link with my favorite vendor, WORLDVTG.
What’s on your bedside table?
A nice candle or some sandalwood incense. I have a copy of Patti Smith’s A Book of Days alongside a melted vinyl ashtray where I keep all my rings.
What advice do you have?
Be curious about the unknown. Explore a life that pushes you out of your comfort zone. Seeking with this curiosity can be intimidating at first, but you’ll find so much success and happiness.
What do you really want?
I already have what I want. Since I was a kid, all I’ve ever wanted was to be able to freely express myself, even if no one is listening. I’m so grateful that I’m able to live that dream, with the support I have now.
What’s your last Google search?
If I’m not mistaken, I was looking up a video analysis on one of my favorite artists at the moment, Dijon. If you haven’t already, take this as a sign to explore his discography.
Where are we headed?
We’re headed into the bright lights of the future. After a year of prioritizing my health, I’m excited for this next chapter. There’s a lot to look forward to, and I can’t wait to share it all.
