Zendaya is back in the spotlight this week, reigniting the press tour for ‘Dune: Part Two’ in New York City.
While some may be asking, “Wasn’t the ‘Dune: Part Two’ press tour back in February 2024?”—and yes, it was—this time around, it’s all about FYC, or “For Your Consideration.” The campaign is aimed at reminding awards voting groups just how special this film is, giving it a push toward the 2025 awards season. So if successful, we’ll be seeing Zendaya and the rest of the cast gracing the awards circuit.
Screening One
For the first screening, Zendaya was spotted in a Louis Vuitton Resort 2025 green silk off-shoulder mini dress. What I love most about this look is how Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, gave it a playful twist by adding a bubble hemline—departing from the runway version in the best possible way. The seasonal green hue complements the playful, voluminous silhouette, making the look fun and dramatic without being too over-the-top for a screening. This is Zendaya in her “first gear”—looking fabulous, but still leaving room for more to come. She completed the outfit with LV black satin pumps and a lacquered loose hairstyle, which I know some people may not fully embrace. Personally, I think it worked for the effortless vibe she was going for.
Screening Two
This second look may still be under the radar for some as Zendaya wore a look fresh off Burberry’s Spring 2025 runway, which showed just last week during London Fashion Week. Of course, this is peak Law Roach—who loves to flex his ability to get pieces right off the runway or even pre-runway. It’s part of his ongoing obsession with one-upmanship in the styling world.
I also came across a recent interview where Roach claimed that he sometimes intentionally dresses Zendaya in outfits that other celebrities have worn, saying, “I know she’s going to win.”
Doesn’t he usually styles her in vintage pieces? But I digress.
What really matters here is how spectacular Zendaya looked in Burberry. The military-inspired jacket paired with a free-flowing, sheer pleated skirt was nothing short of perfection. This is Zendaya in her element—edgy, chic, and effortlessly commanding attention. She has a knack for balancing structure and softness in her looks, and this ensemble exemplified that balance. There’s always an element of surprise with Zendaya’s style—whether it’s through an unexpected silhouette or a bold detail—and this Burberry look encapsulated all of that.
Her evolving sense of style is a constant conversation in the fashion world, and it’s clear why: she knows how to mix the dramatic with the subtle, the avant-garde with the timeless. It’s precisely what makes her a style icon in her own right, always pushing boundaries without ever losing her personal flair.
