ELLE UK held its annual ELLE Style Awards, in partnership with BMW, at the Sessions Arts Club in London, bringing together a select group of stars for an intimate evening honouring the creativity and resilience of the British fashion community. The event spotlighted homegrown designers and brands, making it a showcase of some of the most exciting names in UK fashion. Here’s a look at how the night’s attendees brought their unique styles to the red carpet.
Sleek & Tailored
Co-host Letitia Wright took center stage, embracing her love for tailoring after a bold mini dress moment last week. This time, she opted for a Wales Bonner ensemble, featuring a sleeveless Singer jacket and a silk overcoat from the Spring 2025 Midnight Palms collection, paired with trousers from the brand’s archive. The elegant look was elevated by a Chaumet Joséphine Aigrette jewelry set, adding the perfect amount of sophistication to her sharp ensemble.
The look was even more distinguished with the Wales Bonner coat.
Effortless
Gugu Mbatha-Raw continues her love affair with crinkled fabrics, donning a strapless chartreuse dress from the TOVE Resort 2025 collection. Styled with Tiffany T T1 earrings and rings, her look was minimalist yet impactful, proving that Gugu knows how to make a statement with simplicity.
Playful Pucker
After her fringed moment in Paris, Nathalie Emmanuel continued to lean into her innate playful side, wearing a Stella McCartney lip-print cut-out dress from the Fall 2024 collection. A burgundy Stella clutch completed the look, though one can’t help but think she missed an opportunity for a cheeky touch with a Lulu Guinness lip-shaped clutch.
Glamorous in bronze
Former footballer Alex Scott turned heads in a bronzed sequin gown by Magda Butrym, adorned with the designer’s signature rose appliqués. Alex loves to make daring fashion choices, but showed a different side to her style.
Nensi Dojaka Tamed
Nensi Dojaka is a label renowned for their boudoir inspired mini black dress, but Marisa Abela made her tailored coat with strap closure the focal point of her look, keeping the dress under wraps. Fabergé and Gemfields jewelry completed her look.
Message In A Dress
Leomie Anderson exuded statuesque beauty in a strapless corset gown from Vivienne Westwood, featuring The Chinese Peony print and Chinese calligraphy that translates to ‘Dame Vivienne’ and ‘Green Economy’ from the Resort 2019 collection, which paid homage to Westwood’s legacy while adding a sense of drama to the evening.
When art and fashion unite
British journalist Yomi Adegoke wowed in a billowing Roksanda Spring 2023 dress that perfectly balanced art and fashion. Paired with pink Christian Louboutin sandals, her colour play was spot-on.
