Demi Lovato made an appearance at the exclusive unveiling of Christian Siriano’s bridal collection for Azazie on Tuesday at the Park Lane Hotel in New York City. This collaboration marks Siriano’s first with a bridal retailer in nearly a decade, and it’s a significant one, as Azazie is the world’s leading wedding e-retailer. The collection, featuring 31 dresses, is inclusive in both sizing (0-30) and price, with each gown made to order and priced under $1,000.
Demi expressed her admiration for the collection saying, “Lately, I’ve seen first-hand how much time goes into creating bridal gowns and looks. I know Christian put in a lot of effort to make these designs beautiful, so I’m excited to support him today.”
For the occasion, Demi wore a custom Christian Siriano ensemble, consisting of a grey crepe draped top, trousers, and an overcoat.
I’m sure the word “custom” immediately caught your attention.
The long overcoat mimicking a train was a particularly thoughtful nod to the bridal theme.
However, the oversized trousers, while clearly intended to be so, could have been slightly shorter. Even just half an inch off would have elevated the look for me. The fact that Demi’s metallic leather silver pumps were visible indicates that the trousers weren’t excessively long, but the oversized fit gave them a somewhat bulky appearance.
