Hailee Steinfeld returned to the red carpet in amazing form for the Los Angeles world premiere of Netflix’s ‘Arcane’ Season Two, held at The Egyptian Theatre on Wednesday.
The actress certainly did not disappoint, standing out in The New Arrivals by Ilkyaz Ozel Lilaea In Déviant black dress—a look amplified by a dramatic deep cut-out and a gold sequin-adorned bra that gave the ensemble a layered edge.
At first glance, the sequin bra and dress appear as separate elements, but it’s likely that the sequins on the outer layer were displaced as Hailee moved and greeted fans.
Would the look have been more effortless without the sequins? Yes, but I love how they add a shimmering dimension to an already dynamic look.
Some may feel that the cut-out trend has overstayed its welcome, but for Hailee, this isn’t a go-to style. This appearance feels refreshingly different, giving off ‘90s supermodel vibes that harken back to Christy Turlington’s era, accentuated by Hailee’s chic Turlington-esqe bob.
And there’s something in her confidence that really seals the look. Hailee wears this ensemble with ease, pulling off the deep cut-out with unapologetic flair.
This return to the red carpet marks a welcome statement for Hailee, proving that she’s not one to shy away from daring choices.
