Great news for all Industry fans—after a hugely successful season three, Industry season four has been green-lit.
Ratings for the show increased by 40% over the first two weeks of the third season’s airing in the US, leading to a very quick renewal for the next installment. Happy days.
Of course, UK audiences had to wait a little longer for season three to drop on the BBC—all episodes are finally available to watch on BBC iPlayer from October 1—but fans on both sides of the pond can now be reassured that another chapter is coming.
Industry’s creators and writers, Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, have already said that they “can’t wait to dive deeper and deliver the best season yet in season 4.”
“Industry has been unflinching in its examination of ambition and class, solidifying itself as a marquee HBO drama,” HBO’s Francesca Orsi added in a statement. “Under Mickey and Konrad’s singular vision, this twisted, thrilling look at London finance has redefined the contemporary workplace show.
“We’re so excited that viewers and critics have recognized season three as bigger and better than ever, buoyed by sublime performances from our unparalleled cast.”
Industry season four release date
If we follow Industry’s release patterns in the past, it looks like we might not see the new season until 2026. It’s also likely that it will drop in the US before the UK.
Industry season four cast
At the end of season three, we see our four core characters flung off in different directions. What’s more, co-creator Mickey Down wouldn’t confirm if Myha’la, Ken Leung, Marisa Abela, and Harry Lawtey would return as the core cast for the fourth installment, teasing that “we can’t give too much away.”
But we’d like to think they’ll be back, alongside newer additions Kit Harington, Sagar Radia, Miriam Petche, and Ben Lloyd-Hughes.
