Kate Winslet attended the premiere of ‘Lee’ during the 2024 Zurich Film Festival where she not only graced the event with her presence, but also received the prestigious Golden Icon Award, celebrating her remarkable contributions to cinema.
With such accolades, one might expect a show-stopping outfit, and Kate did not disappoint.
Sporting a custom red halter backless jumpsuit by Roland Mouret, Kate once again showcased her ability to choose flattering looks. The vivid red hue not only highlighted her radiant complexion but also stood out beautifully against the festival backdrop. The contrasting black belt added a touch of definition introducing an edgy element to the overall ensemble.
However, the trousers. They appeared to be slightly too long, and for a custom piece, this was surprising.
Roland Mouret’s original design was presented in a black and white version. While that classic colour combination is undeniably stunning, it may have evoked a sense of déjà vu for Kate. Opting for a custom red rendition was undoubtedly the right choice, allowing Kate to make a fresh statement while still honouring the elegance of the original design.
