Noémie Merlant attended the London Film Festival’s special presentation of ‘The Balconettes’ held at Vue West End in London, where she showcased a different side of her Louis Vuitton ambassadorship on Tuesday.
For those who’ve followed Noémie’s style evolution, her earlier days with the brand were defined by bold runway looks and standout designs. From vibrant prints to daring silhouettes, she embodied Louis Vuitton’s maximalist spirit. But lately – as seen at the ‘Lee’ London premiere – she’s leaned towards a more minimalist approach, and this latest look is no exception.
Wearing a black Louis Vuitton knitted fringed top paired with a criss cross bra and a skirt accentuated by a leather belt, Noémie’s ensemble felt understated but sophisticated. She finished the look with silver leather Louis Vuitton pumps, creating a clean yet textured aesthetic. The fringe detail added a playful dimension, while the criss cross bra subtly peeked through, giving the outfit an edge without overwhelming the overall simplicity.
Even though this “less is more” approach is becoming more common for Noémie, it’s still surprising coming from a brand like Louis Vuitton, which I will always associate with high-impact, statement-making fashion. However, I do find it a refreshing shift that keeps things interesting.
This Louis Vuitton moment might not be as loud as some of her previous looks, but it speaks volumes in its quiet confidence.
