Demi Moore Wore Chanel To 'The Substance' Paris Premiere

Demi Moore graced the red carpet for the premiere of ‘The Substance’ at Cinémathèque Française in Paris on Tuesday, continuing her strong year of fashion choices (well, aside from that Loewe outing in London).

This time, she opted for a look from Chanel’s Fall 2023 Haute Couture collection—a black tulle dress embroidered with delicate pink and blue flowers, complete with a black satin bow. Over the dress, she layered a navy wool crepe coat that added a polished touch, ideal for a Parisian winter premiere.

Though not everyone has embraced Virginie Viard’s direction at Chanel, I would argue that this is one of her standout designs. The dress has a romantic, timeless feel, yet still manages to bring a contemporary edge.

I must admit, I wouldn’t have immediately considered Demi as a natural fit for Chanel; her style often leans toward a different type of glamour. However, I’m always pleased to be proven wrong, and this look made me reconsider.

A pink Chanel clutch and Chanel Fine Jewelry, including the striking Lion Solaire De Chanel earrings, complemented the ensemble. And, I have to add, this might be the first time in a while that I’m fully on board with the dual-coloured Chanel pumps. They were definitely a better choice to the shoes we saw on the runway.
