Keira Knightley, star of Netflix’s upcoming espionage thriller ‘Black Doves,’ will make an appearance on The Graham Norton Show – airing in the UK this evening – to promote the series.
Alongside discussing her new project, she revealed how ‘Love Actually’ still follows her, recounting, “I was stuck in traffic for ages recently and a car full of builders next to me started holding up the signs like in the movie. It was creepy and sweet at the same time, much like it was in the film.”
Keira has long been synonymous with Chanel, Erdem, and Valentino, and it seems Alessandro Michele’s appointment at Valentino hasn’t disrupted her affinity for the brand. For this appearance, she selected a look from the Valentino Spring 2025 collection.
The ensemble—featuring a bow-accented ivory and black jacket paired with a tiered black satin skirt—evoked a sense of vintage charm. Michele’s is known for leaning into nostalgia, and this outfit plays directly into that aesthetic. The structured elegance of the jacket, delicacies of the trio of bows, combined with the dramatic volume of the skirt, is quintessential Keira.
While many celebrities have embraced Valentino’s Spring 2025 collection head-to-toe, I’m relieved Keira skipped the red lace tights.
With ‘Black Doves’ streaming on Netflix from December 5, we can look forward to a week of Keira’s always intriguing sartorial choices. If this look is anything to go by, it’s safe to say she’s off to a strong start.
