The stars aligned earlier this week to mark the unveiling of Dior’s My Dior second chapter, a continuation of the Maison’s fine jewellery line. Hosted by Sarah Lysander, the soirée took over London’s Tramp, where friends of the brand and industry insiders gathered to toast a night of glamour, heritage, and craftsmanship.
First launched in 2012, My Dior draws inspiration from Dior’s iconic Cannage motif—a timeless symbol of elegance featured in the Maison’s creations since its inaugural fashion show in 1947. Victoire de Castellane has reinterpreted this emblematic design, inspired by childhood memories of visiting Dior’s boutique adorned with Napoleon III caned chairs. The collection’s name plays on its duality, with “My” echoing the French word maille, meaning mesh.
This autumn, My Dior is reimagined, incorporating the geometry of Cannage to craft a signature piece emblematic of the Maison’s heritage. The first chapter of the collection debuted on 10 September 2024—and now, we finally have a glimpse of what’s next.
