Valérie Leberichel has been appointed senior vice president of global communications at Gucci as the Milan-based mega-brand aims to relaunch under new leadership.
Leberichel is joining from Givenchy, where she was the global communications VP since 2022, following a decade in communications roles at Prada and Miu Miu, where she worked closely with Gucci’s new CEO Stefano Cantino.
Kering-owned Gucci has been working to revamp its teams and strategy across marketing and communications, design, supply chain and more as it seeks to break out of a deep sales slump. Revenues fell 25 percent year-on-year in the third quarter.
Gucci has also hired a new vice president of digital marketing and media, Marcello Mastrogiacomo, and global media director, Daniela Raganato, BoF can confirm.
