For many, Da’Vine Joy Randolph seemed to come out of nowhere (as we didn’t get a press tour from her), yet she dominated awards season—not just by sweeping every category she was nominated in, but also by captivating us with her impeccable style.
We’re accustomed to celebrities bringing their A-game to awards season, with designers clamoring to dress them—especially a consistent winner like Da’Vine. However, after awards season, there’s often a noticeable drop-off in their fashion moments. Da’Vine broke that trend spectacularly. If anything, her style became even more impressive and daring, as she consistently embraced bold risks with her fashion choices.
