Kate Middleton was highly anticipated this Wednesday at Sandringham. And the Princess of Wales did not disappoint: she opted for a total green look, the color of hope and rebirth, to appear alongside her husband Prince William and their three children, Prince George , Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

In front of them, King Charles III and Queen Camilla led the way to St. Mary Magdalene Church to attend Christmas mass. The Wales family may have skipped the traditional lunch at Buckingham, as they had already left for Norfolk, but this event was not to be missed, as they greeted the many supporters who had come to welcome them.

This return is all the more important for Kate Middleton as last year’s march to the church was her last appearance before the announcement of her surgery and then her cancer diagnosis. Since then, she has only been seen on very rare occasions, the most important in the royal calendar—Trooping the Colour and Remembrance Day—but also the dearest to her heart—the Wimbledon final and an event to support the families of victims of an attack in Southport.

On the sartorial side—always closely watched by Kate Middleton—we can note the return of a coat designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, the designer behind her unforgettable wedding dress in 2011. The princess accessorized this double-breasted coat, a classic in her wardrobe, with a bow fascinator and a green and navy plaid scarf, matching the outfit of the young Princess Charlotte. Black gloves matching her boots protected her from the cold.

The Wales family attends the Christmas Morning Service at Sandringham Church on December 25, 2024 in Sandringham, Norfolk.
