If you’re disappointed by the absence of one of her signature romantic gowns, consider the title and premise of the series—a thriller that required a darker, edgier tone.
The Chanel Fall 2024 Haute Couture look she chose—a black lacquered jacket paired with a long flared black guipure skirt embellished with floral details—finds a balance between her ethereal style and the gravity of the project she’s promoting. It’s not one of my favourite Chanel moments from Keira, but it’s undeniably on point for the mood and an effective nod to the series’ intensity.
This is Keira at her most purposeful. The ensemble aligns perfectly with the thriller theme of Black Doves, showcasing her ability to adapt her fashion choices to suit her roles. While it lacks the dreaminess we’ve come to adore from her in Chanel, it carries a quiet sophistication that serves its purpose well.
