In celebration of FENDI’s 100th anniversary, a beloved icon receives a new iteration.
The Peekaboo family is expecting – a Soft Small iteration of the Peekaboo bag, that is. First unveiled on the Spring/Summer 2025 runway, the latest Peekaboo’s integrity is uncompromised, where the Maison’s boundless creativity and utmost dedication to craftsmanship continue to shine bright. From the soft construction to the high-quality leather, the Soft Small Peekaboo can be recognised not just by its itty-bitty size, but also thanks to its cross-body adjustable strap, a witty addition in favour of function.
To welcome this new addition, FENDI have tapped director Emir Eralp to create a short film showcasing the new Peekaboo. Staying true to the Maison’s cultural roots, the film takes place in Rome, Italy, where three women can be seen wearing the bag in its different styles. The film grounds itself in the sounds of Little Dragon’s “Little Man,” where synth-pop beats effortlessly and elegantly accompany the ladies’ day out in the Italian capital.
Speaking of the new Peekaboo Soft Small bag, FENDI’s Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear Silvia Venturini says “The Peekaboo Soft Small bag has perfect proportions. It’s like a Baguette bag, you can fit a lot in it, everything you need. They stretch, move, expand and contract depending on what you put inside. That’s the secret: soft small bags are never really small, they’re fake small.”
