Miley Cyrus Wore Celine To The 2025 Golden Globe Awards

Miley Cyrus, nominated for Best Original Song – Motion Picture for her track Beautiful That Way from The Last Showgirl, once again proved her ability to merge rock vibes with contemporary fashion and make a look her own.

The singer-songwriter, who co-wrote the track with Andrew Wyatt and Lykke Zachrisson, stepped onto the Golden Globes red carpet in a custom Celine black dress adorned with silver-embroidered cut-outs.

By Miley’s standards, this was a surprisingly understated look. Yet, the simplicity allowed her unique brand of edge to shine through. The dress, with its daring cut-outs, offered a perfect canvas to showcase her extensive tattoo collection—a detail I know is going to sparking a debate. For those in the “absolutely not” camp, channelling Dan Levy’s Schitt’s Creek reaction, I’d argue that the tattoos are part of her story, seamlessly blending with her fashion narrative.

What didn’t work for me? The face-framing bangs. While they’re clearly a nod to her rock-chic aesthetic, my first thought was that they look like those stick on bangs.

This isn’t Miley’s most jaw-dropping red carpet moment, but it’s a subtle reminder of her ability to fuse her music, identity, and fashion into a cohesive, authentic statement.

De Beers jewels completed her look.
