Raffey Cassidy’s goes gothic for 'The Brutalist' screening

Raffey Cassidy graced the special screening of The Brutalist at Picturehouse Central in London, marking her second McQueen Spring 2025 look after last month’s LA premiere.

This time, she opted for a black blazer dress with a striking edge. While the photography doesn’t quite do justice to the impeccable tailoring—particularly the layered detail on the skirt—the dress itself had a gothic charm thanks to the white hemline and sleeves adorned with intricate web-like lace. It’s a look that perfectly blends structured sophistication with a touch of dark romanticism.

However, as much as I appreciate the dress, I can’t quite get on board with the McQueen buckle shoes. Open-toe footwear on a bitterly cold London evening feels like an odd choice, but beyond that, these particular shoes are giving me serious “foot fracture boot” vibes. They detract from the elegance of the overall look, which is a shame considering how flawless the rest of the outfit is.

Raffey’s styling choices are consistently bold, and while this one isn’t without its missteps, it still showcases her knack not playing it safe.
