Reese Witherspoon hit the red carpet for the New York screening of You’re Cordially Invited at Jazz at Lincoln Center, and you’ll be glad to see that there is still no wedding theme.
Actually, scratch that—there is a theme: black skirt suits.
This time, the actress opted for a Louis Vuitton two-piece look, made distinct with a flounce detail and gold embellishments. A subtle evolution from her previous outing, but an evolution nonetheless, and we’ll take it.
I can already hear some of you yelling “boring,” but let’s be honest—Reese has always played by her own red carpet rules. For years, she was synonymous with fitted dresses, a signature silhouette she rarely strayed from. Now, it seems she’s found a new comfort zone in sharp, structured skirt suits.
And you know what? I respect it. Some stars are fashion chameleons, constantly reinventing themselves. Reese, much like Renée Zellweger, prefers consistency, and there’s something to be said for a woman who knows exactly what works for her.
Would I love to see her throw in a power jumpsuit or a splash of colour? Sure. But for now, this no-fuss, tailored streak is a refreshing change—and I’m here for it.
